Carolinda Rodriguez, more commonly know as DJ HTBX, first became interested in music in elementary school when she picked up the guitar. She played throughout high school and college.
During college Carlie became interested in music production and the live music scene. Today she enjoys sampling music and performing live.
Carlie has quickly became well known in the Charleston electronic music scene as one of the few female DJs.
In 2021 HTBX became a resident lighting designer at Charleston’s most popular nightclub,
Trio.
With her skills of lighting and sound engineering, she provides entertainment for night clubs, weddings, corporate events, and other gatherings.
In 2022, HTBX was signed to Station Underground and Get Hype Black Records.
